The pond in our yard attracts lots of different creatures. We’ve had rattlesnakes and bobcats to stray dogs. The wasps and bees have made the pond their home. They’re great to take pictures of because they don’t bother you. I can get real close up shots without having to worry about being stung.

I recently went on a photo-walk in Downtown Los Angeles. Got some great shots, most taken with no tri-pod. Tri-pods can slow you down and they’re a hassle. You’d be surprised how many things you can use as a tri-pod; street lamps, signs, ground, etc.
Check out my flickr for more photos from the photo-walk.
